BP may revive talks to sell some of its Alaskan assets, including half its stake in the Prudhoe Bay oil field, after failing to reach a deal with Apache (APA) earlier this week. Some investors worry that BP may be tempted to sell off too many assets, that they will become trapped inside a shrinking company where the quality of assets steadily deteriorates.
