Margins from Europe-to-U.S. gasoline shipments have dropped to a 20-month low, after strikes that shut nine of 11 French refineries cut fuel stockpiles. “There’s not enough of a differential to encourage a lot of volume to the U.S.,” says one analyst, as U.S. gasoline demand fell 0.8% last week.
