Mortgage rates rise slightly in this week's Freddie Mac survey, which now just makes them "incredibly low" (rather than "ludicrously low"?). The average 30-year fixed rate rose to 4.86% from 4.81%; the year's average was just under 4.7%, lowest annual number since 1955. Fifteen-year fixed-rates averaged 4.2%.
