Tesla Motors (TSLA) says its mainstream-targeted sedan will be profitable at much lower volumes than Nissan's (NSANY.PK) Leaf car because of cheaper batteries. Tesla says its Model S, which uses cells similar to those in laptops, will make money at just 20,000 annual deliveries. The stock's down 3.1% today and down 10.2% since a lockup on shares expired early this week.
