St. Jude (STJ +5.2%) among the S&P 500's top performers on the day as J.P. Morgan calls its Quadra the "most important new product" in implantable defibrillators in the past nine years - which could cut down the 28-40% of cardio device patients who don't respond to treatment, and lead the company to steal share from Medtronic (MDT -0.3%) and Boston Scientific (BSX -3.4%).
