Taking advantage of super-low rates, MIT issues $750M in bonds maturing in 100 years. Pricing was better than expected (for MIT), with the yield of 5.6% just 130 basis points over 30 year Treasuries. The last century bonds sold were from Boston University, which borrowed $100M at 7.625% in 1997.
