Toyota (TM) and Salesforce.com (CRM) team up to create a social network, "Toyota Friend," allowing owners of Toyota electric and plug-in hybrids beginning in 2012 to connect with each other to exchange tweets and remotely obtain diagnostic information about their vehicles, such as battery usage. But it's not certain why anyone would want to let Twitter fans know their cars are due for oil changes.
