Infinera (INFN -6.8%) is falling hard post-earnings. Though the optical transmission gear vendor slightly beat Q4 estimates, it guided on its earnings call for Q1 revenue of $115M-$125M and EPS of -$0.05 to -$0.09, which is only in-line with a consensus of $119.5M and -$0.07. The Street apparently wanted something better following a 70%+ rally from Infinera's November lows. Infinera also mentioned it expects gross margin to be pressured in 1H as its high-end DTN-X system ramps, and that it has limited visibility for Q1. 7 DTN-X customers were added in Q4.
