Moody's reports that U.S. non-financial companies have been sitting on a $1.24 trillion pile of cash since the end of 2010. But don't look for it to be spent adding new employees or expanding capacity here at home any time soon. Much of it is stashed away in overseas accounts until the economy improves, or more favorable corporate tax conditions are put in place.
