Yahoo's (YHOO) web traffic has grown a lot since 2003, but its stock price hasn't, as the company continues to struggle to effectively monetize this traffic. A failure to sell out premium display ad inventory via direct sales has led to much of the inventory being sold through third-party exchanges, where it commands much lower rates.
