For the 7th consecutive quarter, BoE Governor King is forced to write a letter to George Osborne explaining the reason for inflation coming in above 3% (now running at 4.4%). For the 7th consecutive time, King says high inflation is temporary and the economy can't handle higher rates. If the BoE makes a move, it will be easier, not tighter policy.
