It may seem a bit flighty, but a new study suggests a link between company risk-taking and CEOs who own a pilot license. Researchers using FAA data find that those bosses use more leverage, make more frequent acquisitions, and produce greater stock return volatility. Seems that CEO pilots are more likely to use a white-knuckle style when it comes to allocating capital at work.
