Amid Congressional calls for hearings on excessive executive compensation, several corporations are attacking a recent study claiming 25% of the top-paid U.S. CEOs made more in salaries than their companies paid in federal income tax last year. A spokesman for General Electric (GE) says the methodology used is "inaccurate," while Boeing (BA) calls the entire study "simply wrong."
