GE's Jeffrey Immelt, who heads Pres. Obama's advisory panel on creating U.S. jobs, is investing $118M expanding GE's business in Germany, building a new innovation center in the country and hiring 450 people. Immelt has overseen big losses in GE's U.S. workforce since his 2010 hiring as CEO, but he has added tens of thousands of new jobs overseas.
