JPMorgan clears airline stocks for a takeoff, noting carriers are cash-heavy and profitable. Analyst Jamie Baker says the historical 40% downturn in shares post-recession has already been cleared, and consolidation should help margins. Adding to the mix, recent guidance from airliners has been mainly positive. The NYSE Arca Airline Index is up 2.8%, led by LCC +4.5%, DAL +4.2%, UAL +4%.
