Edmunds forecasts new U.S. auto sales will decline 3.1% M/M in September, but rise 8.3% Y/Y, as strong sales for the Big 3 and Nissan (NSANY.PK) offset earthquake and inventory-spawned declines for Honda (HMC) and Toyota (TM). GM and Ford (F) are expected to post Y/Y increases of 19% and 11%, respectively. (previously)
