Quick Update: Increased my position in $MO and $NYMT N (series D preferred stock) today at a weighted average price of $54.82 and $23.10 per share, respectively. In my opinion, MO reported a good quarter (could have been much worse; better than $PM 's quarter). MO assessment article will likely be available to readers next week.

Whoohoo! Just cancelled my pointless $AMZN Prime account I've had since 2007. I don't need them delivering to my car trunk, thanks

Excellent move TJZ, cancelled my $AMZN Prime Account as well.
Still long $AMZN like a savage, even though I am doing things that would seemingly be contrary to my interests.

For example, I am long $AAPL and don't own ANY apple products.
I am long $FB and don't have an account.
    Long $MO $PM and don't smoke.
Long $AMZN and haven't ordered anything in almost a year.

To balance it all out however I am drinking my 2nd 40oz Steel Reserve 211 made by $TAP, a company I am also long.

    I am a walking conundrum.
A walking conundrum full of almost 80 oz of malt liquor.
$MO I can't stop buying as it keeps going lower. Bought more $PEP $MO $PM $GIS $V all this week.

    $MO vs $PM ?

Right now I am leaning towards $MO, but to be honest am adding both currently.
I remember Martin Zweig on Louis Rukeyser saying to add to $MO(pre-split) anytime the yield gets above 5% .
I listen to that man even though he is no longer with us, and you should too you savage.

Long $BUD via $MO, was unaware of any extra tax breaks but happy to hear that they may be getting extra tax incentives. Willing to go for zero taxes for awhile and see what happens. Let's shake this up, hit the pedal to the floor and really test this car out.
Had to pick between adding to my $VTR stake or go tobacco ($PM and $MO). Chose tobacco for now.

Purchased stake in $MO at $54.35. Will add if it continues to drop.

$MO same here, was going to purchase the day $PM made that huge drop but waited until earnings report for $MO. I guess just hold, not a lot of growth but I'll take the dividend and the small div increases.

Cramer just put $MO, and $PM in the "now what do I do" column. Said JUUL just ate their lunch, traditional tobacco can't continue to price up to compensate for falling product sale. JUUL is selling like hotcakes, and very popular with the 20-30 year olds. Did anybody see his rant; he hates tobacco, hates the stocks--but so many of us are invested in the sector. Feedback, anyone?

    Like $PEP here too
Also looking at $KMB, even more $PM (currently wicked overweight postion), $MO later when lower
Quick Update: Increased my position in $MO today at a weighted average price of $56.78 per share. In my opinion, MO's price action was an overreaction to $PM earnings (which had an overreaction as well).

I'm wanting more in the mid $50s, and may scrape together enough for a small purchase if it stays below $58.

I'm VERY MUCH wanting to hear/read the upcoming CC.
Looking for intell... What are reasons for significant price declines in MO and PM today? Don't know details, but PM seems extreme.... Thanks $MO

Same here, was listening to the $PM earnings call live and they kept saying they couldn't hear the questions and eventually they had to switch phones.
Did people think they were ducking questions?
Long $MO and $PM over here forever
bought more $PM @$88.72 this morning and ran out of money at the account
What's the word on $MO? Big drop last two days and not seeing any news on why.

Two days in a row with 5%+ declines, still no news? $MO

$MO appears to just be correlated with the dip in $PM, I unfortunately bought some last month and then it went down further especially the past two days. Weird because $MO is a low volatility type stock.
