Mall REITs scare the hell out of me, but open air shopping centers not so much. So far, $TJX
, etc. have all been mostly immune to the $AMZN
effect. The restaurant industry can be cyclical, but the locations tend to remain the same. $AMZN
might disrupt grocery but if you've seen the margins on grocery retail I don't know why they'd focus efforts on that now. Will dollar cost average $KIM
if it continues to slip, but this won't be a heavy weighted holding.
