It is good to be a good stock picker. It is very good to be a very good stock picker, but it is even better to be a very good picker of very good stock pickers! The basic of successful investing is to assure that the ground state is on the 1st floor.
I have been investing and trading since the mid 90's. I have traded the oex using options, and am now primarily interested in stocks with an emphasis on dividends and growth. I am a fan of Fibonacci and Gann for TA and believe in time and price as it relates to retracement levels as guide to when to buy or sell a position.
When I am not reading here on SA, I am traveling with my wife or fostering Great Pyrenees dogs.

Currently my portfolio consists of etfs, mixture of index (ivv, vti), dividends (vig, vym) and sectors etfs (vht, ibb, ita, vgt). I also have a few stocks (big caps, dgi, growth, ...), acquired whenever they seem to be undervalued (brk.b, bac, wfc, wmt, mo, pm, bp, xom, aapl, csco, qcom, ge, pypl, anss...). Right now my preferred mix is about 20% index/dividend etfs, 10% health/bio, 20% technology etfs, and 40% stocks and about 10% cash.
