Welcome, Stockles is my public investment diary were I show you how I’m creating a passive compounding machine which will generate money when I sleep, surf, travel and enjoy life. The goal is to annually generate $80 000 in dividends. I’m using the Dividend Growth Strategy and I focus on companies with the following attributes: Enduring competitive advantages, long operating history, shareholder-aligned management and opportunity for long-term growth, reasonable payout ratios, consistent free cash flow and healthy balance sheet. Consistent normlized earnings per share is very important. While money is important, travelling is main my passion. Here’s some of my proudest moments: 1) Travelled the world alone for one year.
2) Worked as an english teacher in a small province in north Vietnam.
3) Got closer to understanding that money isn’t happiness. Poor farmers can be (normally are) just as happy as a rich man. It’s about waking up and going towards something. Where you go doesn’t matter. This site will focus on passive income, but also what it means to feel alive. I hope you find it interesting.

Over 35 years of investing in individual stocks. Extensive business experience with small to mid-size companies, including as CEO. Many hundreds of blog posts on financial and economic matters since 2008. Focus on value with catalysts for upside price action; and biotech. Background as a physician and pharmaceutical inventor and entrepreneur.
Experienced investor and analyst, with most of my career spent on Wall Street and in London. I enjoy the analytical chase, and the prize of getting it right, especially for overlooked or under-appreciated stocks.
As a CFA with a solid accounting background, I respect the numbers. Being able to first establish a fact-based view is critical to the process, and independent thought is key. That way we can at least have a basis for comparison to views from the market, which is the ultimate judge.
As I'm a long-term investor, I'll highlight some stockpicks which will have a 5-7 year investment horizon. As I strongly believe a portfolio should consist of a mixture of dividend-paying stocks and growth stocks, my articles will reflect my thoughts on this mixture.

Considering myself as Finance enthusiast, I'm investing on stocks since 3 years by using a value approach and by following famous Warren Buffett's piece of advice: "It's far better to buy a wonderful company at a fair price than a fair company at a wonderful price."
I am a management consultant and small business owner currently active in the defence and manufacturing sectors. My areas of focus include business transformation, airworthiness, and capital raising for new ventures. My investment style is largely influenced by Warren Buffet's deep value early years and focuses on comparing businesses through a common benchmarking technique. My portfolio includes common stocks and real estate investments.

I am the Contributor Success Strategist for Seeking Alpha Marketplace, helping authors to succeed in growing their services through a focus on marketing and content strategy. I originally joined Seeking Alpha as a Senior Editor in June 2012, and left to pursue other opportunities in late 2016. During my initial tenure at SA, I managed the Dividends, Income & Retirement and Expert Insight platforms. D&I focuses on income investment strategies and dividend investment-focused content for investors from the accumulation stage to retirement. The purpose of Expert Insight is to expand and elevate the quality of Seeking Alpha's content by including articles from an industry insider's point of view, designed to help investors make more informed decisions as they consider specific sectors and trends within those sectors for their investing strategies, e.g., utilities or technology. Expert Insight articles offer more of a macro, 30,000-foot-view that goes beyond investment analysis or stock recommendations. I also curated the Dividends & Income Digest, a bi-weekly publication that takes a look at a question that is compelling and relevant to the community, showcases the responses of DI thought leaders, and serves as a round-up of top DI articles. I have a particular interest in retirement-related content, particularly with regard to using a dividend strategy to create a steady income stream for those golden years.
My investment strategy is built around the creation of an income stream that will provide me with long term flexibility. I believe there are many ways to accomplish this goal from buying stocks that have an income component at value, to cash flow generating real estate investments to bond and bond equivalents. Each investor must know where they're trying to get to, then create a formula that works best for them. I choose to focus on income because it allows me to sleep more comfortably.
I'm a well-informed retail investor and post on SA in order to expose my thought process to critical examination and comment from readers. It makes me a better investor. I'm particularly proud of bullish macro articles posted in 2009 and later, in which I presented ideas that encouraged me to invest very profitably in a rising market. I also did articles on individual stocks, many of which contained insights not available elsewhere. Finally, I wrote a number of thoughtful articles critical of financialism and the lack of ethics on Wall Street. I donate the proceeds from my blogging to charity. The best way for me to monetize my insights is to invest accordingly. As a retail investor, I don't give investment advice. I write about what I'm investing in, and the thought process involved in decision making and stock selection. Hopefully some of what I write is of benefit to others, by sharing my experience as I interpret it and helping them improve their investment thinking and process.

I'm a huge skeptic by nature. If you had to put me in an investment category, I would fall under "contrarian/value" investor. It's not an investment style that I picked but one that reflects my personality.
Regarding my articles, I think to present my ideas present in a neutral light, without any hype or promotion, which is a rare thing these days.

I'm an Army veteran and former energy dividend writer for The Motley Fool. My goal is to help all people learn how to harness the awesome power of dividend growth investing to achieve their financial dreams, and enrich their lives. With 22 years of investing experience, I've learned what works and more importantly, what doesn't, when it comes to building long-term wealth and income streams. I'm currently on an epic quest to build a broadly diversified, high-quality, high-yield dividend growth portfolio that:
1. Pays 5% to 6% yield
2. Offers 6% to 7% annual dividend growth
3. Pays dividends AT LEAST on a weekly, but preferably, daily basis
I have a twenty year background in equity research and investing, fifteen of which have been spent in directional hedge funds and before that I was a sell side analyst. I focus on the financial services sector globally and also write about general market issues, economics and geopolitics, often though not always with a financials slant.
