About Zachary Latif

Zachary Latif joined TLG Capital in 2011 to focus on credit and liquid markets. He has accumulated a decade of credit and asset trading experience in fixed income across a variety of financial institutions including Dresdner Kleinwort, Nomura International and Toronto Dominion. His speciality is in high-yield products and particularly credit dislocations where extremely volatile situations create compelling value propositions and arbitrage opportunities. Zachary has traded a variety of sectors specifically retail and autos whilst also managing the interest rate book. At Dresdner he compared yield levels between credit default swaps and bond yields across benchmarks to provide for a value-driven and arbitrage focussed approach to credit. He has traded over $1bn in the credit in the past two year in esoteric structured credit notes, which includes distressed Lehman and Icelandic notes. Zachary has been invited to speak at numerous conferences and has a widely-read monthly newsletter on asset allocation within the credit markets. He holds a Masters degree in Finance achieved at the age of 18 from Cass Business School in 2003.
