BioTime announces distribution of Agex Therapeutics shares

• BioTime (NASDAQ:BTX) will proceed with the distribution of ~12.7M AgeX shares owned by BioTime on a pro rata basis, beginning at 5:00 pm ET today.
• Eligible BioTime shareholders are entitled to receive one share of AgeX common stock for every 10 shares of BioTime common stock held as of the record date of November 16.
• AgeX will begin trading on the NYSE from November 29, under the ticker symbol AGE.
