HSBC is said to expand chair search after initial candidate pool falls short

HSBC (NYSE:HSBC) reopened its search for a new chair after its initial shortlist failed to produce a suitable successor for Sir Mark Tucker, despite considering more than 100 potential candidates, the Financial Times reported Sunday, citing people familiar with the process.
