Petru's lifelong passion for investing began to materialize when he started investing in stocks at the age of 18 in 2018. Since then, he has achieved impressive results by employing a contrarian approach, targeting unloved and undervalued assets while maintaining a disciplined, long-term perspective. He holds a bachelor's degree in Finance and Banking and a master's degree in Financial Management and Investment, providing him with a comprehensive academic foundation in finance and investment principles. Furthermore, he successfully passed CFA Level 1 in May 2023 and CFA Level 2 in September 2024 and is currently preparing for the CFA Level 3 exam, scheduled for August 2025, to further develop his expertise in investment analysis, portfolio management, and financial markets. As a generalist investor, he analyzes opportunities across various industries, with a preference for stable cash flow sectors such as consumer defensive, utilities, and real estate.
