How many passwords do you have? It is not difficult to imagine that many of us have too many passwords to remember for different accounts. Passwords are widely used to protect private data security in modern times. For Windows 7 users, login password is usually needed. However, sometimes, they mix up different passwords or even forget their login password. I want to say, it is useful for Windows 7 users to learn about Windows 7 password recovery with password reset disk, which is regarded as the easiest and fastest way.

Create a password reset disk in Windows 7 for free

Windows 7 allows its users to create a password reset disk with an USB flash drive so that they can reset Windows 7 password with it when forget password. Thus, to create a password reset disk, you should prepare a blank USB flash drive. It doesn't need to be a big one, for the password reset disk is very small in size.

Step 1: Insert the USB flash drive to your Windows 7 PC.

Step 2: Go to Windows 7 Start Menu and type "create password reset disk" in the start menu search and then launch the page "Create a password reset disk" which will be highlighted in the search results.

Step 3: You will then come to the "Forgotten Password Wizard". Then follow the Wizard to choose the right USB drive and then create the password reset disk.

Normally, the operations of freeware are a little bit complex. However, some other software are not free, they can reset your password safely and efficiently via booting a password reset disk. And also, most of them are universal for Windows Server 2008 password recovery, so especially suitable for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 dual-system. Besides, if you are not familiar with Windows 7 operation skills and care about data loss in the locked PC, the latter seems a better choice.
