- Aurora Cannabis (NASDAQ:ACB) announced the delivery of a cannabis shipment valued at nearly C$8M to Israel, making it one of the largest cannabis shipments the country has received.
- “The sale is a significant step in advancing the Company's international medical business, a key strategic priority for Aurora as a global cannabis company,” Aurora said in a statement.
- “With leadership in Canada and Israel, Aurora is uniquely positioned to be a partner of choice in countries like Israel,” it added.
- The company has a strategic supply agreement with Cantek Global to deliver a minimum of 4,000 kg of bulk dried flower to Israel annually.
- "We look forward to continuing to provide high-quality cannabis to Israel, as part of our strategy to expand our medical cannabis portfolio in key international markets," Aurora CEO Miguel Martin said.
- In June, Cantor Fitzgerald said that in the coming months, Canadian cannabis names will benefit from buildup of inventories and reopening of stores after lockdowns.
