- Visa (V) may announce an agreement as soon as this month for the cloud-based payment and banking platform, according to a Bloomberg report late Thursday, which cited people familiar with the matter. A final deal hasn't been reached, and talks could collapse.
- Mastercard (MA) and Visa (V) were said to be both interested in acquiring Pismo in a sale that could value the fintech firm at about $1 billion, according to a Bloomberg report from March.
- Valor Economico reported in late March that Visa (V) upped its offer for Pismo to $1.4 billion from its original offer of $1 billion.
