- American Financial Group (NYSE:AFG) said on Tuesday that it has appointed John Berding president, effective immediately.
- Berding will continue to serve as president of the investment management services unit, American Money Management.
- Berding assumes the new role that was previously jointly held by Carl Lindner and S. Craig Lindner.
- Berding will work with the two co-CEOs on matters of strategic planning and capital management.
