Tempest Therapeutics (NASDAQ:TPST) shares continued their wild ride Monday, with shares rallying 85% Monday.
Shares of Tempest opened at $3.97, reaching a high of $7.45 before closing at $6.74.
Tempest shares rocketed nearly 4,000% last Wednesday, hitting a high of $9.77, after the company released updated data from a Phase 1/2 study for TPST-1120. The company also announced the adoption of a limited duration shareholders rights plan, but said it wasn’t in response to any specific takeover threat.
The stock fell 59% on Thursday and another 9% on Friday, ending the week at $3.64.
