Tencent Music Entertainment stock (NYSE:TME) dipped 3.5% Friday morning after announcing its chief technology officer is resigning.
Zhenyu Xie has tendered resignation from the posts of president and CTO as well as his position on the board, effective March 31, the company said.
Xie is leaving for personal reasons and will serve as a consultant, TME said.
The company appointed Min Hu, its chief financial officer, to the board effective March 31.
"Zhenyu has played a vital role in leading our teams to significant breakthroughs, which has greatly enhanced TME's product appeal and user experience," said Executive Chairman Cussion Pang.
