ChargePoint's software to be used in LG's EV charging stations under new partnership

• ChargePoint (NYSE:CHPT) said Tuesday it has signed a partnership with LG Electronics to leverage their technologies for EV charging solutions in the U.S.
• Under the partnership, ChargePoint’s charger management software will be integrated with LG’s advanced EV charging hardware.
• Deliveries of the new charging systems are expected to begin later this summer.
• "Future areas of collaboration may include combining ChargePoint EV charging solutions with LG energy storage systems, integration of the LG ThinQ smart home platform with ChargePoint’s award-winning Home Flex residential charger, and chargers that leverage LG’s digital-out-of-home advertising platform, among other areas under evaluation," the companies said in a joint statement.
