- Regeneron (REGN), Celgene (CELG), Biogen Idec (BIIB), Gilead (GILD), Seattle Genetics (SGEN), Isis Pharmaceuticals (ISIS): "In biotech, I like Regeneron, Celgene, Biogen Idec and Gilead. I also like Seattle Genetics and Isis Pharmaceuticals."
- EMC (EMC): "Long term, it might be okay. Now, I'm not crazy about it, but because of saber rattling, it is going higher."
- Pitney Bowes (PBI): "It has moved so much, but those guys are smart, they are doing a lot of great things. It can go higher."
- Thermo Fisher Scientific (TMO): "That was a good quarter, and you did well in that. I urge you to stay with this."
- DexCom (DXCM), Edwards Lifesciences (EW), St. Jude Medical (STJ): "We had DexCom on. I like that company. I think someone might want to buy it. I like Edwards Lifesciences and St. Jude. DexCom is a great spec, but Edwards is best in show."
- Priceline (PCLN): "We don't care about the split. Splits have helped some stocks, but you want this one for the earnings."
Bearish Calls:
- GT Advanced Technologies (GTAT): "This stock is going the wrong way."
- Arena Pharmaceuticals (ARNA): "I'm not a fan of it. People got mad at me because of that, but the stock is down."
- Seadrill (SDRL): "This is really a conundrum, because I believe the yield is safe, but there is weakness in the platform business. You may pick up the yield, but you are not going to get upside in the stock."
